RFD 8500 SLED from Zebra Technologies is designed with a stylish, comfortable and durable design, which makes it suitable for use in industrial conditions. It is compatible with other Zebra mobile computers, smartphones and tablets running Android , iOS or Windows , and the RFD 8500 quickly and easily turns them into RFID readers . With the manufacturer's built- in PRZM intelligent technology and megapixel sensor, the RFD 8500 SLED seamlessly reads RFID tags , linear (1D) and 2D (2D) barcodes of poor quality, dirty or damaged. Operators can easily switch between scan modes ( RFID tags or barcodes ) at the touch of a button.

The RFD 8500 SLED offers real-time wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 2.1

Batch mode , which records scanned barcodes and allows them to be transferred at a convenient time for the operator, collecting up to 500 barcodes and 40,000 RFID tags. The device withstands intensive use, even during long shifts, thanks to the 4410 mAh lithium-ion battery . The RFD 8500 features EPC global Gen2 v2 technology, which provides protection against duplicate scanned labels . The Zebra RFID reader comes with a wide range of accessories and is compatible with TC55 charging stations.
