The CS4070-HC pocket barcode scanner of the manufacturer Zebra Technologies is characterized by an extremely compact size and is mainly used in healthcare. Designed with a special plastic housing, the CS4070-HC withstands daily treatment with strong disinfectants, and the degree of protection – IP52, prevents the penetration of dust particles. With built- in PRZM smart technology, Zebra's pocket scanner quickly and seamlessly reads linear (1D), two-dimensional (2D) and poor-quality PDF417 barcodes from paper, mobile device or computer screen. It is not necessary to align the scanner to the barcode - omnidirectional.

The CS4070-HC has two operating modes

• Batch mode , which saves the scanned barcodes in the internal memory of the device and allows their transfer via USB at the end of the working day.
• Open Bluetooth mode , through which data can be transferred in real time, through a Bluetooth connection with a host device - mobile phone, laptop, etc.

The CS4070-HC features a powerful 950 mAh Li-ion battery, providing users with reliability even during the longest work shifts, with the ability to perform up to 4250 scanning operations on a single charge. The barcode reader has an LED indicator that signals when the battery needs to be replaced . The Zebra scanner has three modes (do-not-disturb) for good feedback : light indication (red or green), vibration and sound signal.

Works flawlessly after multiple 1.5m drops onto concrete.
