DS81 78 - the latest Zebra Technologies scanners are designed primarily for retail (shops, tourism - hotels, logistics and transport, light industry, public sector).

DS8178 has PowerPrecision + smart battery - for intensive scanning up to 24 hours. This is the only scanner in this class that has a battery status indicator and detailed information with metrics and indicators for each scan.

DS8178 barcode scanners offer a wide range of features

• maximum scanning range up to 61 cm and a bright aiming point through which the cashier can scan products directly from the customer's cart
• easily read poor quality barcodes with Zebra Technologies ' intelligent PRZM technology
• decoding Digimarc barcodes printed on   the entire surface of the product, as wallpaper and invisible to the human eye. The use of Digimarc barcodes eliminates the need for precise scanning of the scanner to the barcode and thus significantly reduces scanning time
• support Multi-code Data Formatting (MDF) for scanning multiple barcodes at the touch of a button
• takes high resolution photos on entire pages - 8.5x11 or A4. The information is transferred in a suitable electronic format - so there is no need to buy a document scanner
