The Thor VM2 builds on the successful and already familiar VM1 computer from Honeywell, featuring a wide range of capabilities. Adaptable to the needs of operators, the device increases workplace productivity. Intended for use in high-load environments, the computer is mainly used in industrial environments - warehouses, factories, etc. Thor VM2 is equipped with a large 9.7 inch touchscreen display with a brightness of up to 400 Nit – operators get the necessary space to freely perform every single operation through the screen, as well as excellent visibility in different light.

Honeywell offers flexibility in choosing an operating system - Microsoft Windows CE 6.0, Windows 7 Pro , Windows Embedded, Standard 7 and Windows Embedded Standard 2009 . The device is compatible with a number of terminal emulations and web applications (RFTerm TE), making it intuitive and easy to integrate. The computer supports a fast Wi-Fi connection - Microsoft® Windows CE 6.0: 802.11 a/b/g, Windows 7 Pro, WES 7 & WES 2009: 802.11 a/b/g/n.

Thanks to the SmartDock function, mounting/dismounting of the Thor VM2 is extremely easy and fast - it can be moved in seconds from one machine to another, eliminating the need to purchase additional devices. An easily replaceable front panel reduces maintenance costs, and the option to add a keyboard makes it easier for operators to enter a larger volume of information. Thor VM2 is characterized by a robust construction, resistant to shocks and vibrations, and the degree of protection – IP66 – protects the device when operating in environments with a high concentration of dust and moisture.
